THE ORION STORY Orion Communications, Inc. was incorporated in the state of Maryland on March 27, 1991. It is a privately-held corporation. The company is owned and operated by Philip G. Donnelly, the current President. Orion has provided structured cabling installation services continuously since its inception. Since the company has no publicly-owned stock, financial statements are not generally made available. All of the revenue will be derived from the company's core business. Orion does not resell telephone systems or computer networking or integration services. Prior to founding Orion, Mr. Donnelly spent almost ten years in the communications cabling business, as Installer, Crew Foreman, Operations Manager and Vice President of Technical Services. These experiences left Mr. Donnelly with a negative impression of the cabling industry in general. He felt that many of their business practices were unethical, unprofessional and that this left customers with a negative impression as well.
